Message to Clients

I feel that finding the right therapist for you is key for your wellness journey. I strive to meet my clients where they at and help create the wellness journey that best fits their needs. As an eclectic therapist with strong roots in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) it is important to me that we create wellness goals for you to track your progress as well as leave you a safe space to process anything that might be on your mind.

Many new clients ask how their sessions are conducted and too often I hear clients say that they have been in therapy where the first four sessions were their "intake sessions". I spend the first session exploring more about yourself and your goals for therapy and then by the second session we hit the ground running. It is my goal that my clients learn new tools and are able to process their needs as soon as possible in order to find alleviation of some of the symptoms that prompted them to engage in therapy. Whether its a desire to sleep better, cope with anxiety symptoms, or finding new ways to set their intentions; these are all tools that can be explored while also working on larger goals you have set.

Remember that taking the first step is the hardest step. I'm looking forward to working with you and remember that there is no reason to walk on this journey alone.
